About the owner
Hi I'm Kailey! The owner and operator of
The Art of Learning Child Development Program.
I have my Bachelors Degree in Child Development and a Masters Degree in Administration and Leadership of Early Childhood Education. I have been in the field for 12 years and love being a part of the magic that is the first years of a child's life. Development is rapid in the early years and it is important for children to have a safe loving environment in order to thrive.
I wanted to create a space where children are free to explore and grow using developmentally appropriate practices in a family friendly environment. I want to be a support to you and your children as you face each milestone, challenge and any other messy, wonderful, magical moment that can occur in a child's life.

Philosophy
One idea that is at the heart of this program is that children were created with the tools and instinct to gather knowledge from day one using their five senses. Working with a mixed age group of children from six weeks to age four we will encourage them to be active learners at their own pace and developmental level. We believe that play and art provide all of the opportunities necessary to help encourage and develop a child’s curiosity. Children will be given ample materials and time to investigate and understand all of the wonderful learning moments life has to offer. Art is a powerful tool that allows a child to develop in all domains and in ways that are developmentally appropriate. We also believe that families are a valuable and vital part of a child’s learning and work to create a strong connection with those who are involved in caring for the child. We encourage family participation and work to create a resource for our families and the community, so each child has an entire network of resources and support for their future success.
